Tornado Damage Recovery – Residential Home Restoration & Reconstruction

United Water Restoration Group Delivers White Glove Service After Hurricane Milton Tornado Strike

In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, an EF-2 tornado spun off from the outer bands and tore through a quiet South Florida neighborhood. Multiple homes on the same street were directly in its path and had significant damage. What took months to perfect for these homeowners was nearly leveled in minutes—shattered windows, torn roofing, severe structural damage, and complete water intrusion throughout the interior.

With their homes uninhabitable and lives suddenly upended, the homeowners all turned to United Water Restoration Group (UWRG) for immediate help. We worked simultaneously on all of the homes on the same street and offered them our white glove service to ensure their homes were built back the right way. They needed more than a contractor—they needed a team who could manage every detail from disaster response through total reconstruction.

Problem:

The tornado tore through the properties, ripping off large sections of the roof and allowing wind-driven rain to soak walls, floors, and ceilings. Water poured in unchecked for hours, leading to swelling wood, ruined insulation, and quickly forming mold colonies. On top of this, flying debris had compromised all of these home’s structural integrities.

The homeowners were displaced, overwhelmed, and needed rapid, professional help to not only restore—but rebuild—their home.
